USAIFI is indebted for the support it receives from Alumni and Friends of San Agustin. We may list the names of donors in web-based announcements. Should you wish that your name not appear as a donor, please notify us or write an anonymous donor on the donor form.
Gift receipts
Receipts are provided for every tax-deductible gift received and generally emailed or mailed within 2 weeks.

Disclosure Statements
Endowments- Gifts are managed and invested in accordance with USAIFI investment policies. The total return earned more than the amount approved annually for payment will be retained for endowment principal to protect from the effects of inflation and to allow for growth. At the discretion of the Board of Directors, when the payout is not needed for purposes of the fund, the return payout may be added to endowment fund principal. The endowment fund is intended to exist in perpetuity, unforeseen forces may alter the plan or wasteful to administer. In such event, the BOD will decide that proceeds from the fund will be utilized in a manner as closely related as possible to the original intent for which the fund was established.
Fiduciary Responsibility
USAIFI is a California nonprofit organized for the purpose of Education, Public service and Philanthropic services of the university. Responsibility for governance, including investments, is vested in its Board of Directors.
Administrative fee on gifts: may apply a standard one-time administrative fee to all gifts and pledge payments to provide essential support necessary to the Foundation’s overall operations. Our overhead / administrative cost will be reported annually with other information so spending can be traced for legal purposes.
